Falling Water

This lyrical 6/8 piece, originally written for orchestra, has been thoughtfully arranged for concert band in the accessible key of B-flat Major. This energetic piece is fun to play, depicting relentless cascades of splashing water in a "risoluto" mood to begin. In the joyful middle section, lush scoring and rich harmonic textures allow players to practice various articulation and phrasing techniques.
