The music of Revolution is bold and restless and, like most revolutions, combines passionate, hopeful and anxious undercurrents. Mounting levels of musical tension build relentlessly like a restless mob that grows as it charges through the streets, leading to the initial statement of the melody. A quiet waltz-like section slows the action, gradually taking on a more anxious and almost sinister nature which then charges forth to the frenzied conclusion.
