Based on nautical songs and sea chanties (including the statement of and twelve variations on 'Drunken Sailor'), Sea Songs is a great addition on any concert program. Fashioned by the former chief arranger for the United States Marine Band in celebration of the 350th anniversary of the founding of the City of Boston, it is well crafted and rousing.
