A Tameside Overture (Concert Band - Score Only) - Sparke, Philip

A fanfare opening followed by the sonorous full band leads to a lively tuneful allegro. This is developed, with the occasional change of metre, before the fanfare returns, cleverly counterpointed against the music from the quicker section. This overture is yet another brilliant Philip Sparke work.
