Along with "Mjelle," this is one of Terje Nilsen's very best and most well-known songs. And together with Halvdan Sivertsen, he is regarded as Northern Norway's greatest singer/songwriter.Nilsen, a native of Bod, was soloist with the Military Band in Harstad on several occasions, and this arrangement was made for one of these.In more recent times, other Norwegian artists like Maria Haukaas Mittet and Eva Trones have performed excellent renditions of the same song, both on record and on stage.
