An Irish Ballade

Based on the vintage Irish folk ballad 'The Minstrel Boy,' John Kinyon has given this passionate melody new life in a contemporary arrangement for the less-experienced concert band. To bring out its inherent sweetness and beauty, a sensitive interpretation and rubato tempo are recommended. (Grade 2)
