Avondale Overture - Claude T. Smith

A concert work perfect for young bands. The opening section, labeled andante and maestoso, features two distinct themes. The second theme is used again in the B section at a brighter tempo with an accented style. Varying key changes, tempo changes and one 7/8 measure, will make this appealing and interesting to young concert bands.
