Glendower Overture - Gregory Smith

Owen Glendower led a Welsh uprising against England in the 16th century. Though his quest for independence was unsuccessful, he is none-the-less regarded as a national hero. The overture's heroic and dramatic nature makes it an outstanding choice for any program.
