Heroes of Flight - Brian Lewis

Heroes of Flight was inspired by the men and women who have played important roles in aeronautics. A powerful introduction leads us to the A section where rhythmic energy abounds. A brief transition takes us to the slower, lyrical B section which is lyrical and provides plenty of opportunity for expressive playing. After a recap of the A theme, the coda brings the piece to a rousing conclusion. A perfect opener for any concert.
