"Mariametamorphoses" is a musical fantasy over "Maria hun er en jomfru ren", from Verran, in Trndelag county of Norway. It is built up as a "theme and variations" piece, where the theme is presented last, in the epilogue.The piece was commissioned by The Royal Norwegian Air Force Band, with financial support from Trondheim municipality in 2018
