Prelude and Toccata - Claude T. Smith

This is one of Claude's most difficult later works. An excellent choice for outstanding high school, university and professional bands looking for a challenge. Great writing throughout; featuring a bass clarinet cadenza and solos for the alto saxophone and flute. Worth the effort!
