    From the opening fanfare, this piece will put you in the holiday spirit! Joyful World is an adaptation of the familiar Christmas carol Joy to the World. The piece opens with fragments of the familiar carol cleverly woven into a spirited fanfare. This is followed by a rendition featuring a regimental snare part with playful harmonies. In the third section, the meter changes to create a beautiful 6/4 ballad, leading to a hint of the familiar Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee tune before returning to the original melody.
