It was first published in 1905 and has subsequently become a favourite for Scots remembering their homeland when far away from home. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The explosion claimed 168 lives, including 19 children who attended the day care centre on the building's first floor.Across the street from the Murrah Building, an American Elm tree was severely damaged by the blast, but somehow managed to survive.
