    Fantastic Creatures - Georges Sadeler

Fantastic Creatures take us into a world of fantasy, mythology and legends. These fascinating creatures possess qualities that transcend the boundaries of reality. In this work, three such creatures are described in all their splendour and mysticism: The centaur, a fusion of horse and man, epitomises the grace and strength of nature. The mermaid, half fish, half woman, enchants those who meet her with her beauty and mysterious nature. And the Phoenix, an immortal bird, symbolises eternal renewal and hope.

The version for Concert Bandwas commissioned by Frode Amundsen and Borge Musikkorps in 2018. Supported by NOPA (Norwegian Society of Composers and Lyricists)
