This beautiful folk song has been used as the melody for several popular hymns including "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say," "O Sing a Song of Bethlehem," "I Feel the Winds of God Today," and several others. It is a beautiful work that seems to float along both melodically and harmonically. This arrangement is opened by a solo voice with a sense of a lone player on the top of a hill surrounded by mist. The tune is then played in full quartet voicing leading to other variations and re-scorings. It ends as it began, very peacefully and reflectively.

This inevitably leads to "Battle!" where the forces collide in combat. Short aggressive bursts of sound lead to "Victory Is Ours," where a new order takes their place in charge. "Celebration" begins and builds to a joyous conclusion.

This little tonal caricature by Kevin Kaisershot seeks to musically portray this enigmatic character in a somewhat less than frightening way. The tritone and its usage in the Middle Ages was forbidden, but today has become more associated with its rather "devious" sound and pops up every so often in music of that nature. The opening is that of the shroud of mystery surrounding the character. The main body of the piece is the swirling cone of energy that the character possesses, and the waltz section is a dance related section containing a bit of devious comic relief.
