The title comes from a poem by David Wright, and the work is associated with various places (mostly mountains) in the Lake District. The emphasis is on the Patterdale area, though other parts of the Lake District are also referred to, and the work falls into a series of sections which group themselves into larger units, so that is becomes almost a four-movement work played continuously. Includes: Great Gable; Grasmoor; Grisedale Tarn; Haystacks; Catchedicam (Catstye Cam); Angle Tarn; Grisedale Brow; Striding Edge; Helvellyn. Duration: 17 mins.

"Jasmine Flower" is a setting of the traditional Chinese folk song "Molihua," likely originating in the southern China provinces. The tune is a vital part of Chinese New Year celebrations and was also featured prominently during the closing ceremonies of the 2004 Summer Olympics.
