Leopold Mozart (1719-1787), an Austrian composer-violinist of German extraction, was the father of the famous Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Leopold Mozart was a creditable composer in his own right, as the "Toy Symphony" amply demonstrates. Bo S.
