£60.99Seconds Out - Samuel R. Hazo
In boxing, the term seconds out refers to the moment when coaches and trainers (or seconds) must be out of the ring, leaving the competitors alone to face the competition. In a similar vein, this composition provides a musicaldescription of the challenges and triumphs of students as they transition from middle to high school, leaving their seconds (parents, mentors, etc.) behind to face life on their own terms. Featuring a strong sense of urgencythroughout, Seconds Out is solidly written for inexperienced ensembles with plenty of tutti scoring, and interspersed with sections of contrasting dynamics and effective percussion writing. £60.99As Tears Fall On Dawn's New Light - Richard L. Saucedo
Even though the ranges and rhythms are quite modest in this beautiful lyric piece for young bands, there is a wealth of musicality to be learned and enjoyed. Delicate and sensitive in the beginning, there is a logical ebb and flowto the music as it builds to a full ensemble climax then back to the quieter texture and harmonic shift at the end. A rewarding setting for your young players. Dur: 3:40

£109.99Pomp and Circumstance Op. 39 - Edward Elgar
The English composer Sir Edward Elgar wrote the five Pomp and Circumstance marches between 1901 and 1930, the time of the British Empire, when the colonial and strategic world power of England was at its peak. March No. 3 in C minor, although less well-known then March No.1, was regarded by the composer as the most successful of the marches in terms of composition technique and musical content. The dark colours of the minor tonality and the hopeful sounding cantabile theme are extremely impressive, giving the march its unique character. This is a great chance to bring British pomp andsplendour to your performance.
