£79.50Runway Five (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Karrick, Brant
This piece pays homage to the tenacity of the human spirit and mankind's achievements of flight and space exploration. With main themes presented in minor keys, the asymmetric and odd meters, especially the 5/4, intend to give thrust and momentum to the music. The many changing meters of the piece are intended to give the listener a similar feeling that a pilot has while attempting to control an aircraft during a turbulent and bumpy flight.Duration: 6:00

£76.95At the Movies with Hans Zimmer (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Zimmer, Hans - Williams, Justin
Hans Zimmer's film scores are unique, bold, and unmistakable. His works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. This collection is not so much a medley of tunes as it is a portrait of his styles and "Zimmer-esque" moods. Incorporating selections from Man of Steel, Inception, and The Dark Knight Rises, this arrangement is a tour de force of dramatic and emotional cinematic textures.Duration: 4.00

£75.00Angels' Carol (Concert Band with Optional Choir - Score and Parts) - Rutter, John - Noble, Paul
The music was adapted and arranged by Lowell Mason in 1839 from an older melody which was then believed to have originated from Handel, not least because the theme of the refrain (And heaven and nature sing...) appears in the orchestra opening and accompaniment of the recitative Comfort Ye from Handel's Messiah, and the first four notes match the beginning of the choruses Lift up your heads and Glory to God from the same oratorio. However, Handel did not compose the entire tune. As of the late 20th century, Joy to the World was the most-published Christmas hymn in North America.

£72.00Blue and Orange (Flute Solo with Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Wiffin, Rob
A song and dance for flute with wind band accompaniment. Blue is a gentle, tuneful solo. The accompaniment is very much in a chamber-music style and there are very few places where the whole ensemble plays at the same time. There is nothing overt or dramatic in the music and subtlety and rubato are very much the required manner. It is not a desperately sad piece but is just tinged with a little melancholy. Orange on the other hand is a fiery, driving dance which gives the soloist a chance to display technical prowess. During the outer sections Latin percussion carries the music along but the inner sections are more dissonant and are built on inner rhythm. The two pieces are as contrasting as possible, just like the colours of the title.Duration: 3.15 & 4.15

£39.95Over All Bridges (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Lundkvist, Krister
Over all Bridges is an attractive composition in four distinct sections. The melodies in all sections should be prevalent at all times and presented with spirit. The first theme should be played with clarity and the woodwind triplets could be slurred if preferred by the conductor. The tempo must remain constant despite differing time signatures and the final tune should have breadth and line.

£75.00The Very Best Time of Year (Concert Band with Optional Choir - Score and Parts) - Rutter, John - Noble, Paul
This is another beautiful and luscious carol from John Rutter, and the setting is easy to moderately easy. The arrangement is written and intended for combined Wind Band and Chorus. However, it is also arranged so that it is complete with Wind Band alone. The choral part is shown in the conductor's score, but is not included in the set. This arrangement is compatible with the published vocal score.

£69.95Triumphant! (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Wiffin, Rob
This vivacious and tuneful overture was written for Rob Wiffin's friends in the Chiltern Concert Band. One of the tunes is actually based on the rhythm of the names of some of the stalwart members who were in the band when Rob Wiffin conducted it in the early 1990s and are still there now.In compositional terms this piece is in the light vein of Chase the Sun and High Spirits, featuring a fanfare opening that reappears towards the end, a slow middle section and a number of bright melodies, mostly built around the interval of a third.Duration: 7.20
