This is followed by a symphonic march section, whose grandeur emphasizes the solemnity of the celebration. The hymn-like character gives the piece a calm, dignified flow, seamlessly integrating into the overall composition.The fanfare theme returns in the final section, culminating in a majestic and powerful ending that enhances the celebratory atmosphere.A unique feature of the Century Fanfare" is its optional ending from bar 72, which can be performed as a 40-second standalone fanfare, offering a striking musical accent for special events.The composition is versatile and designed specifically for the festivities of the anniversary year.

It was composed for and dedicated to those wounded in the army, paying tribute to their courage, resilience, and inner strength. Through a musical style rich in emotion and power, this work celebrates the "survivors" - those who, despite the hardships of war and injury, continue to pick themselves up, overcome adversity, and find within themselves an unshakeable determination. Survivors embodies both the enormity of the struggle and the hope of reconstruction, a march for those who have been wounded but who, through their courage, have become survivors. This concert march was commissioned by the French Army bands on the initiative of their musical director, Maurice Marc.

A version for brass band was written for Manger Musikklag and recorded by them on "Grafitti", Bjrn Sagstad conducting.

Fair Field Festival opens with a brass fanfare under florid woodwind figuration. A noble chorale leads to a lively allegro vivo, which centres around a majestic horn and euphonium melody under chattering woodwinds. A second theme is first stated by trumpets and this leads to a central legato theme on horns and saxes, repeated by the trumpets. A brief allusion to the opening section leads to a full recapitulation and an energetic coda. A work filled with vitality!

Bella Ciao is an Italian battle song, which became popular in Italy during World War II among partisans resisting fascism and national socialism. The song became a global resistance song against oppressive powers. In 2018, the song became known again through the Spanish Netflix series La Casa de Papel, in which the song was used multiple times. Jan van Kraeydonck wrote a skillful arrangement for concert band, fanfare and brass band.
