Carolina's Majesty captures the grace and beauty and of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Opening with a dialogue between brass section fanfares and lyrical woodwind statements the piece quickly develops into a soaring melody first heard in the woodwinds and then passed through the brass section. The slower middle section weaves the flowing melodic material between all choirs of instruments and a unique fugue inspired by the opening melodies leads us to a majestic and energetic conclusion. With emphasis on melodic development throughout the composition, this powerful composition is an excellent choice for any concert or contest setting.

Fanfare and Soliloquy (Warner Chappell Army Journal Wind Band No.860) - Sharpe, Trevor Lee
Fanfare and Soliloquy is a work designed to show the contrasts of tone colour between brass and woodwind in the symphonic band. Jazzimut (Concert Band - Score and Parts)
In 2009, one year after its formation, the Swiss brass ensemble Azimuts Brass commissioned its conductor, Marc Jeanbourquin, to write them a signature tune. He composed Jazzimut, which features a festive introduction followed by a lyrical theme. After a few bars of rock rhythm, Jazzimut goes disco and finishes with a recapitulation of the introduction as a fanfare. £124.99Resurgence - Philip Sparke
Resurgence was commissioned by Nishiusuki Kyoiku Shinko Rengokai to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2023. The commissioners are a non-profit organization for educational promotion in Japan and have founded a concert band, who gave the premiere at their anniversary concert. The piece opens with a flourish which leads to a martial theme in the brass, but this quickly subsides to introduce a chorale in the lower brass. After reaching a climax, the work slowly builds to the main vivo section. Here the opening fanfare is repeated, but instead leads to a dance-like tune in the clarinets. This is taken up by the full band and develops until the saxes change key with a legato melody. Following a repeat on trumpet, the chorale from the introduction briefly reappears to herald a recapitulation, which drives to a short coda, where hints of the opening martial theme bring the work to a triumphal close.
